The municipality is situated in the valley of the Rialb River, with small secondary valleys around the river until the reservoir of Rialb. Following the river, there are two pisciculture factories.
Thanks to the reservoir of Rialb, the region is now an ideal place to practice aquatic sports like canoeing, sailing, trout fishing and many more water sports. The wild landscape and the attractive natural places invite us to discover them following footpaths and roads, going on foot, horse or with mountain bike.
For those who like hiking, there are many possibilities with routes that will lead us to towns or small villages that conserve all the charm of the rural constructions. The area is well known for its 24 hermitages and roman churches making it a paradise for those who love visiting such monuments of the XI and XII centuries.
We can also find dolmens, the dolmen of "Soles de Riu" is a typical megalith formed by a big vertical stone covered by a huge rock. If we wish to practise canyoning, we can go to the "Forat del Buli" which is a place where nature, silence and sport can be enjoyed at the same time.
